A walk on the beach

It takes 1 minute to walk from the Villa Ayola to the beach, 5 minutes if you get a fresh smoothie on your way at Green World Store right in the corner of Villa Ayola road.

Walking on the beach, you will see the lush jungle kissing the pacific waters, and may find all kinds of birds and wildlife like Pelicans, Howler Monkeys, Racoons and some very friendly neighborhood dogs and horses that may tag along for a little while.

Walking south you will cross some fresh water brooks gently leaving the jungle entering the vast Pacific Ocean between small beach ponds and coconut trees. When you get to the fishing-village of Mal Pais, don’t forget to check with the fishermen what's the catch of the day…

Make sure you come back at low tide and high tide, the beach is different in each hour of the day!
